Working of ic engine

 Working of internal combustion : 

In petrol engine : 

Suction stroke :

 piston moves in  TDC  so vaccum is generate . Then The mixture of fuel and air  (in carburetor)is sucked in cylinder  . 

Compression stroke : 

The mixture of air and fuel is compressed in cylinder up to high temperature and pressure. 

Expension stroke : 

Compressed mixture is ignited by spark plug  so then expand the flue gases in cylinder and push the piston by great force. That stroke is called power stroke. Because power generate in this stroke. 

Exhaust stroke : 

After expension of flue gases  then remove the flue gases from the  combustion chamber.
