Turbine is the mechanical device which convert the hydraulic energy of water into the mechanical energy that is called hydraulic turbine. 

           Its is generally used in  hydraulic power plant  , for producing electrical energy 

It is two types 

1. Reaction turbine 

2. Impulse turbine
